Here at Alpha and Omega Christian Church, we are committed to a single goal - making the world a better place. We are a private, 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to eradicating human slavery and spreading the word of hope given by our savior Jesus Christ.
About Us
Alpha and Omega Christian Church wants to spread the message of hope around the world. We are raising funds and promoting awareness on the signs of sex trafficking of children, and how to help stop it. Through advocacy work, free workshops, and other activities, our team works tirelessly each day with the same goals in mind: to stop the exploitation of children. All of our programs focus primarily on helping sexually exploited and trafficked youth.
Get to Know Us
We were founded 47 years ago, in 1977 in Portland, Oregon where we focused on feeding the elderly and bonding our community together regardless of race, religion, or cultural background. Through our volunteer division, the Golden Eagles provided on average 4200 meals a day. In order to prepare 126,000 hot meals a month, it took scores of volunteers, two warehouses, and two semi-trucks which were all donated by local businesses in Portland. Not only did we ensure at least three nutritious meals a day to our senior community, but we also made sure they had blankets, light bulbs, and other household essentials. We take pride in having volunteers who were Jewish, Buddhists, and various denominations of Christianity. Our founder, the honorable Reverend James Leonard Eldridge was a modern thinker and saw the church as a way to bring people together rather than divide by differences such as sexual orientation, religious practices, or social class. We have come full circle by focusing on children and will continue our founder's legacy of igniting change through community involvement.
We are working on expanding our ties by partnering with like-minded non-profits. We are focusing on bringing awareness to the heinous industry of sex trafficking of children. We offer food, temporary housing, legal advice, and medical attention to victims of sex trafficking in various cities including Los Angeles, Dallas, Houston, Denver and Miami through our partners and volunteers. Join us in making the world a substantially better place.
We are working to forge relationships with local law enforcement, and federal agencies to spread awareness and teach people how to recognize and report child sex-trafficking.

There are more human slaves on Earth now than the entire 300 years of slavery in the United States combined.Everyone has a role to play in combating human trafficking. Recognizing the signs of human trafficking is the first step to identifying a victim. Victims can be U.S. citizens or foreign nationals of any age, race, or gender.
